Rules for finding and contacting tutors
Every student/parent account receives a set number of **Daily Coins** (configurable, typically 1 per day), up to a maximum cap of 5. These are topped up daily at midnight and allow you to explore profiles without any upfront costs.
Revealing a tutor's direct phone number or initiating a chat/WhatsApp connection consumes coins. Daily Coins are always consumed first automatically before using any purchased Paid Coins.
You can earn bonus coins by referring other students or parents. When they register and successfully verify their mobile phone number, both you and the referred user receive bonus coins.
If you exhaust your Daily Coins, you can purchase premium Coin Packs via secure payment gateways (like Razorpay). Paid Coins do not expire and allow you to contact as many tutors as needed instantly.
Policies for receiving leads and student details
Tutors can view student requirements (leads) posted on the platform. To view a student's verified contact details and pitch your tutoring services, a specific number of coins will be deducted from your tutor wallet.
When you consume Paid Coins, our backend uses an oldest-first strategy. The system automatically deducts coins from the oldest valid purchased package to prevent package expiration issues where applicable.
Tutors are highly encouraged to upload correct certificates and pass background verification checks. Verified tutors receive a badge on their profile, which significantly boosts student inquiry rates.
Coins spent on unlocking student contact details are non-refundable except under verified fraudulent lead postings. Please report spam leads to support immediately for review and coin restoration.
